Tried that followed by resetting the PRAM as well. When connected to an external monitor, the external monitor wakes up properly after sleep but the built-in stays fully black. Also noted that they hardware keys for screen brightness do absolutely nothing at all (not even any onscreen UI displays) Apple confirmed it is a hardware problem and is shipping a replacement. /david -- david herren-lage - shoreham, vt The effort of producing good quality data outweighs the effort of making the tools to access it. -Tim Berners-Lee, May 17, 1991 (The "birthday" of the web) _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
