The effect is subtle. When you turn on Wrap to Page/Window, it establishes an
absolute framework for your text in relation to a piece of paper, which makes
it possible for you to choose font sizes that actually appear properly. If you
don't turn it on, you can do whatever you want to font sizes and they will
appear fine on your SCREEN, but when you print them, you will notice absolutely
no difference whatsoever, because you haven't established a relative paper
size! This is pretty unintuitive, but when people learn about it, the "Wrap to
page" checkbox in preferences often becomes their next trolley stop.
