it's hard to do much with this because it appears the actual
crashlog couldn't be written; from that fact, and from the above, it
suggests you either have disk corruption, some privileges have gone
awry (which might or might not be solved by a proper permissions
repair), or you have some Intel-only apps on your machine (have you
perchance run one of those tools that strips out the PPC or Intel
versions of the code to reduce disk space?)
what did you use to do the cloning steps you mentioned?
