Yes, indeed. I had an older Mac Mini (1.42 GH PPC) with two partitions:
- one Tiger installation (10.4.11)
- one Leo installation (10.5.8)
I cloned both to a LaCie external firewire drive, then cloned both
clones to the iMac (PPC 1 GH).
But that was month ago. Since then, both installations booted without
problems, access to the iMac by screensharing from a Intel Mini (OSX
10.5.8) was without hassle so far. I do not use the iMac for document,
photos, game or music apps, it only serves me as a Skype and radio
station (radioShark). Control of those apps go by applescript from
Intel Mac. Until yesterday, everythin ran smooth...
