i suppose you know about afp548.com -- it was at times a real help to me when i was casually administering a G4 XServe (which is still in use at XYZ corp years later); i'm a pretty lightweight sysadmin, but i've since found Linux admin topics much easier to research, and have a bit of a "why?" attitude toward Mac OS X Server (though network home folders would be attractive under the right circumstances)
