I don't know if the symptoms are the same but I have long had similar issues
when having a large number of open windows would lead to problems with the
system -- windows not displaying correctly, etc. Goes back several OS X
versions for me and back to my G5 at least. I don't have enough windows open
usually to have the issue appear but every once in a while my open window count
will grow to where I start to see problems. At one time I was blaming Adobe
apps as it usually would be their windows that would get screwed up but it
could easily have been that they were the apps that first pushed me across
whatever limit I was hitting._______________________________________________
