I don't have a stick - but I'm on my way to the Apple Store and probably will pick one up. I don't have an enclosure for the optical drive I pulled from my MBPro, otherwise, I'd just use that. Turns out, there's a forum littered with exactly the problem I have experienced: Installing from my supplied discs (Feb 2009 - Leopard) worked fine over Remote Install (via Dual Quad). But following up with Snow Leopard via Remote Install prompts an alert saying can't install from Volume. If I use a disk image, I get an alert saying I need to burn a DVD first. I've installed OSs and apps from images for many years. It was my first attempt at using the shared optical (Remote install). > _______________________________________________ > MacOSX-talk mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk Red Fantasy music: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-red-fantasy-the-red-fantasy/id388974092?i=388974326 Red Fantasy and Fourth Stream scores: http://www.dobermaneditions.com/en/search-composer/p17554934.html Odair Assad CD: http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/el-caminante-el-caminante/id388974092 Three River Moments score: http://www.henry-lemoine.com/en/catalogue/rechercheFiche.html?cotage=27461 Accessorizer: http://www.kevincallahan.org/software/accessorizer.html Homepage: http://www.kevincallahan.org/ http://www.xeniamara.com
