I thought this would be easy enough to figure out, but no.

I want to rsync files from one machine to another.
Source is a windows machine with cygwin. Destination is mac os 10.5.8
(Hello Time Machine backups)

I want to keep security, so "guest read access" isn't an option.
I want automated backups, so "type in the password" isn't an option.

As far as I can tell, I can't reliably run rsync from the mac to the
windows machine (if this does work, how?), so it has to run from the
windows machine. So, ???

I'll be happy even if I lose ownership/permissions on the windows
machine if I get 100% file backup.
I'm assuming that windows/cygwin rsync will copy all of the windows
data streams on each file.
I have no idea if this will keep the "twiddle names" correct or not.

Help? Anyone? Someone must have done this already, right?
