In Dropbox, iDisk and others - YES.

In iCloud, my understanding is NO.

Each app manages its own files - perhaps with "folders" (I haven't had time to 
download the latest iWork apps) but there is (AFAIK) no such thing as a shared 
file system - like IMAP and iTunes.

Personally, I can see how this will be ok for most people but I live by the 
organisation in my file system (often almost dying from the disorganisation ;-)

Maybe tags could provide similar structure without a file system but I don't 
know and I don't think Apple does.  I think this is one reason why Mac OS X 
will not die - it's for the truck drivers.
