 Did Apple engineering really revolutionise screens by "developing pixels a mere 78 micrometers wide"? Or did they buy a product that some screen manufacturer had developed? Perhaps they developed it for Apple exclusively (at least initially) but I doubt Apple engineers developed it. Happy to be wrong though.
