Well, other drives I used before had not been thrown out. I dont know exactely
what happens to a USB drive, when the computer goes to sleep, but afaik, drives
should not been thrown out at all...Unplug and plug in again starts the drive
quite normal

Question: I guess, "My Computer" window is the window which pops up with the
first menu item in the Apple menu? How do I have that open, when the computer
goes to sleep? (the macs are set to automatically go to sleep after a certain
time without input)_______________________________________________
