Since you're only 12 feet away with a clear line of sight (you didn't reveal
that before), this would be overkill. Last time I had to install a 1650 inside
a residence, it was to power through two slump block walls, a water heater, and
a room-sized safe.
Since you have a brand new Airport Express on the other side, which is
presumably still under warranty, you also have better options.
