A feature that has gone away with iCloud, but is still present in MobileMe is Preference syncing. In your MobileMe system preference, in the "Sync" tab, you'll see a list of the programs/items that are synced, and one of them is Preferences. I've kept this unchecked [along with Dock items] simply because I don't have enough preferences that are the same between my machines to warrant the syncing [there's a difference in how i use a 15" screen vs. a 27" one]. But by default that is checked, so if you did make a change on one system, it would go to the others. Time Machine can help you out there though, as whatever preference was changed can be rolled back. /vjl/_______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
