My wife is freaking out trying to find messages that are in a subfolder of a
folder on iCloud (IMAP). Mail on Mavericks is *sometimes* (ie: for some
messages) showing blank headers and blank content. I didn't believe her until
I sat down at her MBPro and started freaking out, myself.

When selecting the message in the viewer (which shows the preview of the
content), the content pane briefly looks like it's about to show the headers
and content, then everything turns blank.

She's rebuilt the mbox(es) many times, but this doesn't help.

Fortunately, when she logs into iCloud.com and checks for the messages via
Safari, the content is there. ie: message headers, content text and
attachments are intact. When she checks the same folders via iPad running iOS
7.0.4, all is fine as well. It's "just that" the messages don't show when using
Mail on Mavericks. She said this problem started only after updating to
Mavericks.

Is there any danger in moving the files from iCloud to a local folder via
Mavericks Mail - even though we can't see the content in Mavericks Mail but CAN
see the content via Safair/iCloud.com and via Mail on iOS 7?

Thanks,

-K
