I’m seeing several oddities using Mavericks Mail.app with IMAP connections to two different Gmail accounts. The worst of them are:
- No new mail arrives, either automatically or when clicking Check Mail. Rebuilding the mailbox sometimes helps. Oddly, sending a new outbound message will cause it to resume receiving new messages, as if the connection goes to sleep and has to be “woken up." Quitting and restarting Mail.app also works. - I often drag messages from one account to another (work to personal or vice versa). Since Mavericks, I often get error messages from Mail.app when attempting to do this. - If I mistakenly delete a message, Cmd-Z doesn’t bring it back to the Inbox.
