HL stands for something laser. Their all-in-ones are MFCs (multi-function something — copier? color?). DW means duplex and wireless. N is wired network, T is extra trays. I’ve been buying Brothers exclusively for 20 years. I find that HPs are accompanied by too much Windows-style software bloat, and a Nazi-ish requirement that you do everything (from setup to photo processing) HP’s way instead of the way the Mac OS does it. Their physical printing technology is first-class, but their software architecture is abominable. Conversely, Brothers set up and run like Apple manufactured them. _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
