After upgrading to 10.9.5, Mail.app no longer shows me the dates of individual emails. All I get is the from address, the subject, and “Hide Details” in the left-hand corner (which, if I click, simply disappears). Something’s munged. How can I restore the dates? I’ve looked at Preferences->Viewing but there’s nothing there that allows you to select which fields you want to display. Also, is there some way to get the side-by-side display instead of the horizontal split view? -Carl
