I've been using iCloud Drive for about a month now and find myself starting to
store many documents there. So far, it has been very responsive, fast and
trouble free on Yosemite. I feel no lag in navigating or opening files from
the drive. More and more of my iOS apps are supporting iCloud Drive making it
all the more useful.

The one gripe I have is that the apps I tend to use on iOS that support iCloud
Drive are limited to saving a file out to its own container on iCloud Drive.
Looking at the Document Picker API, it appears you CAN both export and move a
file to a destination outside the app's sandbox. I've made requests to
Readdle, for instance, to support this.

I sometimes use Cloud Drive Explorer on iOS 8 to view the contents of my iCloud
Drive and open a file.
