Just today Safari 7.1.5 is acting like it doesn’t recognize ebay anymore. Is it just my Safari.app, or is anyone else experiencing this when trying to buy from ebay?
It puts up the following alert panel: Safari can't verify the identity of the website "checkout.patments.ebay.com". The certificate for this website is invalid. You might be connecting to a website that is pretending to be "checkout.payments.ebay.com", which could put your confidential information at risk. Would you like to connect to the website anyway? If I click on "Show Certificate" it shows: VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5 Root certificate authority Expires: Wed, July 16, 2036 at 4:59:59 Pacific Standard Time ✓ This certificate is valid So… is it safe to use this anyway? -Carl
