A friend just told me he couldn’t drag and drop a photo from the a Photos (the
new app) shared stream into an email.

I use Photos and Mail in different spaces, so don’t drag and drop. But I tested
it and what happens is that you get an error when trying to SEND the email
saying the image is still loading. You do see the image icon in the message
body, but the image is not rendered inline.

If you use the SHARE - Mail action in Photos, the photo(s) is instantly
inserted into an email rendered and ready to go.

You can’t COPY a selected photo from a shared stream either. You just get a
beep.

So if you have an existing email started and you want to add photos from a
shared stream, you have to create a new email from the shared button, then grab
the photo(s) from the new email and paste them into the existing email you’ve
been composing.

I would think these problems would be considered bugs (which I’ll report to bug
reporter).

Has anybody else noticed the above behaviors?

K
