At first, NO Drag and drop to email worked in Photos That seems to be fixed now. I can drag a photo from my Library into email now without an issue. > I use Photos and Mail in different spaces, so don’t drag and drop. Yes, that is what I see as well from a shared album, regardless of if it is an album I am sharing or one shared with me. > If you use the SHARE - Mail action in Photos, the photo(s) is instantly > inserted into an email rendered and ready to go. Yep, the drag and drop is evidently still being worked on. > You can’t COPY a selected photo from a shared stream either. We’re still better off than we were on day 1 of Photos when you couldn’t drag and drop to mail at all. And I’m not sure how this has changed since Photos is still showing as v1.0 and Mail.app hasn’t been updated. Maybe it’s the status of the photo library sync that made the difference or some behind-the-scenes change to some framework. There are definitely still some weird issues with Photos, but I was expecting far more actual problems with it at this point and all I’ve encountered are annoyances that are pretty trivial to work around. (For example, on my MBP Photos says it is downloading 1 item. It’s said this for the better part of a week.) -- A bird in the hand makes it difficult to blow your nose. _______________________________________________ MacOSX-talk mailing list [email protected] http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/listinfo/macosx-talk
