I don't remember all the details of the earlier postings, but is it possible 
that whatever you are doing is falling afoul of HS's strong desire to run a 
completely new file system on internal drives? I'm not sure at exactly what 
step of the installation or pre-installation process old HFS+ volumes get 
converted, but perhaps your process does an end run around it and makes HS 
unhappy.
