I simply downloaded the package, ran the usual make steps,
installed Mason, and launched a startup script I used with apache &
Mason on another platform. I don't remember running into trouble
getting Mason working. I might have seen some 'make test' failures
related to caching, which I ignored (because we don't use Mason's
cache methods).
If you have specific problems or questions, post them and I'll
try to help.
