Actually looks like a shell script, I had found this before and just now refound it.
apparently updated version!! http://homepage.mac.com/mattouellette/ seems to take you there or... http://homepage.mac.com/mattouellette/.cv/mattouellette/Public/tarw_1.0.5. tgz-binhex.hqx this does the exact thing of special processing the resource forks. probably needs to be tested.
