I have seen the op/stat (test 11 ctime != mtime) error on UFS, but only using a disk image where I suspect that hdid does not update fast enough for the test. I suspect but have not verified that if there were a sync between the touch and stat that op/stat test would not have failed. Either way, though, the functionality being tested is present and working for all practical purposes. Incidentally, using a UFS disk image for compiling is quite convenient.
