Interestingly, both the menus for both icons work. Which is really freaky because, that means the dock knows that both icons are associated with the process but for some reason the first icon doesn't have the little running indicator. Also, the dock popup menu's both say "Application Not Responding" until I actually click on the menubar in my app. Probably has something to with not the Carbon event manager not installing default handlers until the first pass or something.
