UNIX, in general, doesn't "just plain work."  Never has for me - but maybe I
am being too "Think Skulled" ???

I can develop and work with my G4 Ti Laptop ANYWHERE - and it works great.

I generally have the same feelings as you - that Apple has indeed muddled
with Unix - but to what detriment or benefit is still to eary to tell.

So, I am wondering - what issues have you experienced that brought you to
your current position of thought on MacOS X?
