Are there any modules that can be used on OSX for accessing the modem or establishing ppp access to other remote Macs? I'd like to turn answering on/off in the modem as well as initiate connections using perl. I've been using the pppd command manually and I assume I can just make system calls using the back ticks to do the same. In the spirit of using others' code, though, I thought I'd check first to see if anyone has written anything more robust/interesting.
