I've had about zero luck with perl CGI, if that's what you're looking for.

If you're will to go with Java, there's the AS/400 toolbox for java, which includes a type 4 JDBC driver for the AS/400. I've used it on some other projects and it works well.

I've seen a DBI::JDBC (or somesuch beast) out on the Internet, but I've never so much as downloaded it. This might make perl CGI work via the above mentioned JDBC driver, but I'm really grasping here.

Using a Win 2000 machine, you probably could use the ODBC driver for windows to run CGI programs with.

Good luck,

Anyone ever had any success doing CGI where an OS X web server serves data residing on an AS/400? If so, I'm at the beginning stages of trying such a thing and would love to be able to pick your brain. I do have the option of making my web server a Win 2000 machine. It's just that I'd prefer to use Apache on OS X.

Thanks in advance,
