Folks, Apple has already given us considerable information about Perl in Panther. The release of the source files which correspond to the external opensource parts of the WWDC Panther seed includes the source for the version of perl which is on that seed. See:

According to those notes, there will be very little change between the version used in the seed and the final version. -- Dave
