No, 10.1 & 10.2 ship with the same version of Perl. If you've installed CPAN modules, they'll continue to work as before.


Panther is different - it ships with Perl 5.8.1, so any CPAN modules you've installed for an earlier Perl will need to be reinstalled if you upgrade that far.

Really though, you should be wiping the drive and doing a "clean" install of the newer OS anyway. That's what most folks recommend as the safest way to upgrade. You'll need to spend some additional time re-installing Perl modules, the apps you use, etc., but it's time well spent.
