Makes just about as much non-sense.

I spend about half my day typing into an editor.  If it wasn't for all
the power of Emacs, I'd be lost by now.

I suppose if you edit for only 15 minutes a day, you could afford
to learn only as much as a GUI editor will let you do. :)
