Just build PerlMagick from Imagemagick-6.3.8-5 (on MacPro (Intel) and MacBook (G4), both 10.5.1 and perl 5.8.8). After installation of ImageMagick via Macports, I download the Imagemagick sources (Unix) and manually install PerlMagick (path to LIB and INC have to be modified in Makefile.PL to point to /opt/local/include and /opt/local/lib). Please note that test are not implemented. Install with: Perl Makefile.PL Make Make install
Verify that everything is working by running demo.pl (in the ImageMagick/perlmagick/demo folder). Can provide more details when needed.
