Sorry, forgot to mention this. I'm using 5.6.1r1 of course. But I don't want to build the complete MacPerlApp. I just want to create a xs-Modul - if this is the right term - to use some C-Code from MacPerl. I tried to follow the example in the MacPerl-Book and failed while using the BuildProgram Script. >You need to replace your BuildProgram with another one (this was the same >with 5.2.0r4 though, IIRC). Uhh, just that i understand everything right. The BuildProgram is a part of the MPW, isn't it? So let my ask one of this stupid newbie questions: How to replace this BuildProgram? ;-) Do i need a more recent version of MPW? Would the one Apple provides on its site do? Maybe i should wait until i finished my diplomathesis in one week and then start over again :-) Where and how should i begin? I thought trying the example in your book would be a goog idea but maybe i should read some more docs before about the usage of the MPW. Regards, Martin
