[MacPerl] BBedit droplets oddity

Anyone else tried making droplets with BBedit? If I try and run a droplet created under BBedit, I get lots of ToolServer activity but nothing from MacPerl. The same code saved as a droplet using other means (MacPerl app, Alpha) works as expected.... what gives?
