[MacPerl] Our?

I'm still trying to figure out this Export stuff ... but here is a MacPerl
question. I'm reading the Programming Perl book which uses 'our' in a number of
places. But MacPerl doesn't seem to understand it, is this something that
belongs to newer version that the one MacPerl is based on?
