Here's something that I just do not understand, and would appreciate any
input (even 
if it's "DONT EMAIL HERE AGAIN!" :)

Also, if I quit Mac Perl, and load it back up, it sometimes gives me a
different error, 
so it's not that the script is bad, it's that Mac Perl is doing something
really weird, 
besides, at line 0 it's not even a Perl script, right?
