I for one would like to encourage you to proceed with your idea.
After all, it is your time, and there is definitely a niche for such
an implementation.

MacOS X may be here, but not everyone will embrace it, and those who
do/are/will, currently constitute a very small percentage.

I would speculate that  an implementation of MacPerl/Tk would see a
great deal of adoption, regardless of MacOS X.  There are a *lot* of
machines running MacOS 9.x and below.


So, my friend, when do you suppose you might have a beta ready?   ;^)
