I downloaded MacPerl 5.6.1b1; it is a pity that there is not a tiny improvement for the MacPerl editor. Maybe you can fix at least this irksome bug: That one cannot reach the position before the first letter of one row by means of the arrow left key or the arrow right key *if* one once has moved the cursor by means of the arrow up key or arrow down key other than on the very first position of any row. You can test it here (after having copied it to MacPerl): a a a MacPerl tries to find that first letter at the very end of the previous row, or something like that. - - You can ask Tom Bender (Tex-Edit) or Alan Fry, they do have wonderful editors!
