Nothing special I know of. Is it the PostScript output of a Helios printer queue you are checking? I do such jobs directly on the server with a Unix Perl. Line endings are Unix 0x0a and should remain so when the file is opened from MacPerl. I'm back at work at the end of next week - perhaps I can reproduce your special problem then.
