This is what happens: I boot into 10.2 and double click the droplet. Nothing is run, MacPerl r2pre is just ready for editing and starting of scripts. Selecting a script and running works as expected. I quit r2pre and launch MacPerl 5.6.1r1. After that double clicked droplets do their job. Also after quitting the classic 5.6.1r1 programm and launching droplets again all is fine. I'm more interested in standalone applications built with MacPerl (Morbus' "AmphetaDesk", my "downloader"). No matter if I build them with 5.6.1r1 or r2prerelease they just idle around. For Morbus -- I found a silly bug in the ModuleFinder.pm and StandaloneBuilder.pm module (attached). Can you please swap both and check again. You could recognize the error yourself if standalone-builder shows full module paths rather than module names. I guess this is a timing/event swallowing problem as found earlier. Axel
