I've heard it from others, too.

But apart from that, I think we were answering different questions; I
understood the question to be whether Mac OS will *run* on machines after
the change, and you took it to mean *included with* the machines, it seems.
So I apologize for the confusion in that regard.

However, the summary stands, for those who are unclear:

* Mac OS is no longer included with Mac OS X.
* You can purchase Mac OS separately.
* You won't be able to boot into Mac OS on new machines, starting next year.
* You will be able to run Classic on those new machines, but only if you
also already have Mac OS, or purchase Mac OS separately.
