What was the exact procedure you used?

First, I selected what I wanted to install, then I clicked Continue, then I
got a screen with options Update, Cancel, Install.  I selected Update.

Site.  If you selected something different, then it is likely that the
mirror you selected does not yet have the new version.

Yes.  Some of them require Test::More, which is not included, but can be
installed via the normal means.  It will be included in MacPerl 5.8, I just
didn't feel like including it in 5.6.  :)
