You can't. The "perl source" was in a "TEXT" resource. When the resource
fork got stripped, the source got stripped. All you got left is a
worthless piece of junk.

The normal way to extract the source from a droplet, is to use the
MacPerl editor to open it. As you're on MacOS-X, having MacPerl seems a
bit useless... I'm sure you could get it out ith ResEdit or similar.

Now, either you get that person to mail it agai nto you, but this time
after using Stuffit on the file, so you get a normal, flat file
(compressed too). Or that person could extract the source and mail you
just the source. A lot more compact, but after your previous experience
with this person I somehow don't think it's likely to see this happen.
