Indeed. I guess what I was trying to point out is that the subtle
differences
between 'port installed', 'port echo installed', and 'port list
installed' will likely
be lost on most users and even if they weren't, the value of doing the
lightweight thing may not justify the amount of confusion it
causes. All that
being said, no measurement has been done, so this is all conjecture.
I would advocate keeping "echo" as it is, since it has a very real
function which would be mutated by trying to add more to it. If "list"
needs to be modified to be more useful, or renamed show, or whatever,
I think that's fine.
