I would like a means to print non-formated output without messages
like "The following ports are currently installed:".
In the mean time, you can just pipe it through grep:
port installed | grep -v following
Thanks, I've been using "sed '1d'".
My comment is more of general comment for all the commands. I expected
-q to have an effect on output from port installed.
