There are numerous ways github supports creating a WIP MR. See the link i sent before. My basic point is what is being discussed here is not something new. Macports is not the first project to come up with the idea of ‘work in progress’ submissions. Tools are already in place to deal with this idea, and it would in my view be silly to not use them and invent some half baked home grown workaround to do what in effect is exactly the same. Chris >
