The socket is here [ /opt/local/var/run/mysql5/mysqld.sock ]I can't get it working either ;-) I'm installing the whole mysql/php5/ apache2 suite right now, so once that's done perhaps I'll be in better shape.
One thing I don't understand: is launchctl or daemondo supposed to manage MySQL? Or do they work together, with launchctl calling the stuff in daemondo? I seem to have have both and I would have thought that launchctl could handle all that.
