I can't get it working either ;-) I'm installing the whole mysql/
php5/apache2 suite right now, so once that's done perhaps I'll be
in better shape.
What can't you get to work? What happens? Show us an error message...
One thing I don't understand: is launchctl or daemondo supposed to
manage MySQL? Or do they work together, with launchctl calling the
stuff in daemondo? I seem to have have both and I would have
thought that launchctl could handle all that.
Daemondo is the MacPorts daemon wrapper. All MacPorts launchctl
plists or startup items call daemondo, and daemondo calls, in this
case, the mysql daemon.
