Maybe you're right. Seems to be OK outside of MacPorts though
(built using the same instructions outside of the port
infrastructure).
Outside of MacPorts, it may be using its own built-in version of gd,
unless you installed a copy of gd 2.0.35 and pointed your manual
install of php5 at it.....
